Lauberhorn race

Lauberhorn race

Along with Kitzbühl, the Lauberhorn race is one of the classics in alpine ski racing. On the race weekend around 50,000 fans make the pilgrimage to the Bernese Oberland to attend this event.
If you have always wanted to take pictures of the racing drivers during the race, I would be happy to take you with me. We start at the start house where you can watch the preparations for the race from a distance, but the terrain means that, with a little luck, you can take pictures of your favorite drivers.
A show by the Swiss flight squadron Patrouille Suisse is traditionally part of the supporting program, ie you have the chance to photograph the bright red F / A-18 with the panorama of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
Then it goes along the race track where you can take your pictures. At the beginning at the start house and then via Russi jump and traverse shot to Hundsschopf. With a bit of luck and using your elbows, you can take a few pictures of this legendary jump. Then it goes past the Minschkante to Wengernalp. From there, no more images are possible further downwards.

This offer is only available for one person (accompanying person possible). I will help you carry your photo equipment. Very good skiing skills are essential, as the Hundsschopf has to ski a small, steep stretch next to the piste.
